# Deprecation of Coralogix Ruby Logger SDK

Coralogix will deprecate the [Coralogix Ruby Logger SDK](https://docs-docusaurus.kinsta.page/integrations/sdks/ruby/.md) (`coralogix_logger` gem) on June 30, 2026.

The Coralogix Ruby Logger SDK is deprecated in favor of [OpenTelemetry for Ruby](https://opentelemetry.io/docs/languages/ruby/), which is the recommended and supported approach for collecting telemetry and exporting it to Coralogix.

Action is required to ensure continued support and compatibility.

The observability ecosystem has converged on OpenTelemetry as the industry standard for telemetry collection. Standardizing on OpenTelemetry reduces duplication and provides a consistent, long-term approach across languages and platforms.

The following Coralogix-maintained gem is deprecated:

* `coralogix_logger` and Coralogix-specific logger APIs described in older documentation

After the effective date, this SDK will no longer be supported or maintained.

Replace `coralogix_logger` with the [OpenTelemetry SDK for Ruby](https://opentelemetry.io/docs/languages/ruby/) and OTLP logs export. Follow the updated [Ruby integration](https://docs-docusaurus.kinsta.page/integrations/sdks/ruby/.md) documentation.
