Effortlessly share your [custom dashboards](https://docs-docusaurus.kinsta.page/user-guides/custom-dashboards/introduction/.md) within your organization by importing and exporting them, eliminating the need to recreate them and minimizing overhead.

## Import a custom dashboard[](#import-a-custom-dashboard "Direct link to Import a custom dashboard")

1

<!-- -->

.

In the Dashboards List, select **Import**.

2

<!-- -->

.

In the popup that appears, select a `.json` file to upload or paste your copied JSON. If you want to place the imported dashboard in a specific folder, pick one from the folder selector.

3

<!-- -->

.

Select **Next**.

4

<!-- -->

.

Review the dashboard summary on the confirmation step, and then select **Import** to add it to your catalog.

To revise your input before confirming, select **Back** to return to the previous step — your uploaded file, pasted JSON, and folder selection are preserved.

Note

If the imported JSON includes a custom URL slug, Coralogix appends `_imported` to it so the new dashboard does not collide with the slug of the dashboard you exported from. The resulting slug must be unique within your team; if another dashboard already uses it, the import is blocked until you edit the slug in the JSON.

## Export a custom dashboard[](#export-a-custom-dashboard "Direct link to Export a custom dashboard")

1

<!-- -->

.

Click the **Export** button on the top right-hand side of the dashboard, or select the **3-dot menu** next to the dashboard name in the Dashboards List and select **Export**. The latter option allows you to export a dashboard not currently in use.

2

<!-- -->

.

In the popup that appears, click **Export**. Click on the copy icon to copy the dashboard JSON file.

Note

The exported JSON includes the dashboard's custom URL slug, if one is set. The slug is preserved as-is when you use the exported JSON with [Replace a custom dashboard](https://docs-docusaurus.kinsta.page/user-guides/custom-dashboards/tutorials/replace-a-custom-dashboard/.md). Regular imports append `_imported` to it instead, to avoid collisions with the source dashboard.
